Our Wood Wood is our most sustainable raw material. As a building material, its credentials are unparalleled. Not only is wood lightweight, with an excellent strength to weight ratio, it also has excellent thermal conductivity. As trees grow, they absorb carbon and create oxygen through the process photosynthesis. Cariboo uses only the finest radiata pine grown in the South Island of New Zealand close to the Cariboo facilities. New Zealand’s climate makes our Radiata Pine far superior as is grows slow and straight ensuring a premium product. When harvested and sawn into solid timber, carbon continues to be stored.
Our Fabrics Cariboo uses only the finest 100% cotton fabrics sourced from sustainable growers and suppliers. Our new certified organic cotton sheets are beautifully soft and the cotton is grown using sustainable farming methods without any toxic pesticides or fertilizers.
